GUELPH – Due to low participation, the Guelph-Wellington Local Immigration Partnership is extending its immigrant survey deadline to July 31.
Participants have a strong chance of winning a prize, officials state.
The immigrant survey is a multilingual survey for immigrants, refugees, claimants, international students, temporary workers and their families to share their experiences of living, working and studying in Guelph and Wellington County.
It should take 10 to 20 minutes and is voluntary and anonymous. It is available online at guelphwellingtonlip.ca, in print, or over the phone in English, Arabic, Dari/Farsi, French, Spanish, Tigrinya, and Ukrainian.
The survey will inform planning for how to better support immigrants and refugees to succeed and provide feedback to over 20 organizations to improve the way they are working with immigrants and refugees.
“Your story counts,” officials say. “Help us build community through immigration.”
