Guelph U-14AA squad earns silver at tournament

Guelph U-14AA had a very successful Guelph Tournament weekend, finishing as silver medallists in an very competitive eight-team division.

The team had two wins, a tie and a loss in the round-robin, defeating Elora-Fergus in the semi-final and lost 3-2 in overtime to London in the final. Christina Nadalin  led the squad in scoring with 11 goals and one assist over the tournament. Maddie Seabrooke recorded five goals and four assists, while Mel Lanteigne scored a goal and assisted on three.

Both goaltenders, Janna Griffioen and Jessica Hill, were “outstanding,” team officials state, adding, they are “proud  of how this team has come together.”
