Guelph man charged after coughing on two women

GUELPH - On April 9 at about 1:45pm, two women were walking near the intersection of Wellington Street West and Dublin Street here, when an adult male walked up behind them, coughed on them, laughed and said, “Now you have coronavirus.”

At 2:20pm, police located and arrested the man.

A 24-year-old Guelph man has been charged with common nuisance and breach of probation.

He is to appear in court on July 14.
