Guelph Kayak Club take part in annual river clean-up
River clean-up – Members of the Guelph Kayak Club took part in a clean-up of the Grand River at the low bridge area of the Elora Gorge Park on Sept. 12. The club has been doing an annual clean-up of local waterways for over 15 years. Among the garbage collected, organizers say they’ve removed car and bike parts, plastic water bottles, construction materials and shoes—to name a few.
