Guelph Humane Society gets 3% increase
Guelph Humane Society operations manager Deb Gray wrote to council recently asking to confirm renewal of the township contract for pound services in Puslinch.
“As you have surmised, due to the increase in operational costs, the Guelph Humane Society would respectfully request a 3% increase for the year 2012.
That would mean a projected cost of about $4,308 plus $108 for each dog over and above four dogs per month.
Councillors confirmed renewal of the services of the Guelph Humane Society for pound facility fees for 2012.
