Guelph hospital foundation holding 50/50 lottery
GUELPH – The Guelph General Hospital Foundation is holding a 50/50 lottery and sales are already exceeding expectations.
The 50/50 lottery will offer monthly draws with proceeds directly funding equipment at Guelph General Hospital.
Managed electronically, each monthly draw will start with a guaranteed prize of $9,999. The prize grows after 50% of gross sales reach over $19,998.
On Saturday July 11, ticket sales surpassed this threshold and the prize pot has been growing steadily since.
It now sits over $15,000 and is still growing.
The Foundation has future plans to offer in-person ticket sales at the Hospital and other select locations. However, at this time due to COVID-19, tickets can only be purchased online at www.ggh5050.ca.
The lottery is licensed through the AGCO and the license number is #12011.
