Guelph-Eramosa sells unopened road allowances
Guelph-Eramosa has approved the sale of four road portions.
Council announced the sales after a closed session on March 5.
Irena Street
The township is selling a 0.17-acre portion of Irena Street, Evert’s portion in Everton to the estate of Robert Johnson for $830 plus HST.
Three road allowances
The township is also selling a 0.37-acre portion of the road allowance between lots 10 and 11, a 0.97-acre portion of Irena Street and a 0.73-acre portion of William Street in Everton to 970782 Ontario Inc. for $29,923 plus HST.
In both cases the sale is subject to the satisfaction of the township solicitor, the completion of a legal survey and necessary changes to the purchase agreement by the township solicitor.
The land will not officially change hands until a bylaw is passed by council.
