Guelph-Eramosa CAO Kim Wingrove is leaving the township.

“It was a very difficult decision,” Wingrove said. “I have enjoyed my time here very, very much. We have a great council and a great staff.

“This is a step up to a larger position in my career and an opportunity to work on some files that we don’t normally get a chance to be involved in at the lower tier level.”

Wingrove has taken a new position as CAO of Grey County.

Guelph-Eramosa is currently going through a recruitment process to find a replacement CAO.

“They’ve been great here,” she said. “It’s a very attractive place for somebody to come into, so I feel very confident that they’ll be able to get a wonderful person to take this role.”

Wingrove’s last day with Guelph-Eramosa will be Sept. 18.
