Guelph/Eramosa Fire Department share fire safety message at various events
Education and fun - Members of the Guelph/Eramosa Fire Department took their fire safety messages to various community groups in October, which was the 100th anniversary of Fire Prevention Week across Canada. One of their stops was the Rockwood Older Adult Centre at the Rockwood Library, to host their Coffee Social on Oct. 14. From left, firefighter Jessica Dean and Captain and Public Education Officer Bernie Liebig, set up a display and discussed information on smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, cooking safety and fire extinguishers.
