Guelph Dance announces 2022 fundraiser: Ready, Set, Move!

GUELPH – Guelph Dance is inviting the community to particpate in  a fundraising challenge to help the secure funds for its 2022 programming participating in Ready, Set, Move!, a community dance challenge.

The 2022 programming includes Arts Explosion Camps, the annual Guelph Dance Festival and artistic residencies.

Guelph Dance is inviting the community to join it on a five-week dance challenge every Tuesday and Saturday from Feb. 15 to March 19.

Ten local dance artists and movement practitioners will offer classes twice a week on styles such as jazz, afro-tribal, street dance and more.

Participants can join on their own or invite family, friends and co-workers to join the challenge.

Every Tuesday at 7pm and Saturday at 2pm there will be a family friendly class live streamed and available to join through Zoom.

Each class will be recorded and available for a week following class so participants can keep up.

Entry fee for the challenge is $100 which gets participants invitations to all the classes and a $50 tax receipt.
