Guelph creative arts announces spring exhibit

GUELPH  – The Guelph Creative Arts Association  (GCAA) has announced their upcoming spring art exhibition.

Established in 1992, Guelph Artisans is a fine arts and crafts retail outlet operated by the GCAA volunteers.

All items are original, and one-of-a-kind. They represent only a small sample of the works created by the 35+ local artists.  Inventory changes constantly and includes, but is not limited to: oil, acrylic and watercolour paintings, fibre art, photography, wood, stained/fused glass, metal and jewelry art.  They also have a large selection of greeting cards.

GCAA is hosting a spring art exhibition/sale in the store space next to Guelph Artisans in Old Quebec Street Shoppes in downtown Guelph from May 2 to 10.   The show will be open from 10am to 5pm daily. This show is open to all artists in south and central Ontario.

Members of GCAA may enter up to a maximum of four artworks into any of the three categories: painting and drawing, photography, or multi-dimensional art. They do not have to all be in the same category.

Cost to GCAA members is $10 per piece including HST.

Non-members may enter up to a maximum of two artworks into any of the three categories. They do not have to all be in the same category.

The cost for non-members is $20 per piece including HST.
