On, May 31, the Guelph Concert Band, with conductor Chris Cigolea and sponsored by the Norfolk Manor Retirement Home, will hold its final concert of the 2013-2014 season. “Something Old and Something New” will be performed at 7:00pm at Harcourt Memorial United Church, 87 Dean Ave in Guelph.
The concert will take listeners on a musical journey through 200 years of history from Johann Strauss and Percy Grainger to Elton John and Adele. Guest soloists Anthony Hastings and Madison Ing will add a special touch to the concert that is sure to entertain.
Tickets are available through band members or for cash at the door: $15 adults, $10 seniors and students, $5 eyeGO and children.
