GSO offers annual show, Concert in Park June 12
The eighth annual Guelph Symphony Orchestra Music in the Park will be held on June 12 at Riverside Park during the Guelph Multicultural Festival, at 3pm on the Festival Stage.
The show offers a lively selection of music from many countries, with music for the entire family.
This is the GSO’s thank you to the community for its support.
Highlights will include a Chinese overture, Spring Festival, as well as an Argentinian tango, Romanian and Hungarian dances, Italian songs, and Austrian music.
The master of ceremonies will again be Geoff Howe. Admission is free. Conductors for the final concert of the 2010-11 season will be Simon Irving and Chris Cigolea.
