A blood donor clinic sponsored by Blair Masonic Lodge was held at Norwell District Secondary School here on Feb. 9.

There were 150 people who showed up to donate, with 130 units of blood collected.

The quota for the clinic was 150 units, so organizers still need about 25 more donors to meet their target. They thanked all those who donated, and especially those who donated for the first time.

Thanks also went to the Palmerston and Harriston L&M and Zehrs for refreshments.

There was also a draw. The winners are:

- Steve Miller, tickets for the Kitchener Rangers;

- Aron Grabios, tickets for the Kitchener Rangers;

- Christina Reichard, tickets for the Guelph Storm;

- Arlene Heroux, a voucher for Pike Lake Golfing;

- Melissa Buckley, tickets for the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League, and

- Peter Canning, tickets for the Hamilton Bulldogs.

The next clinic is April 12 at Norwell, in Palmerston.
