Grease is the word as Orangeville Music Theatre puts Rydell High’s senior class on stage. The show will feature everyone’s favourite “greasers” and their, hip-shaking “Pink Ladies” in bobby sox. These familiar faces, along with the pedal pushers, will evoke the look and sound of the 1950s.
Head “greaser” Danny Zuko and new good-girl Sandy try to relive the high romance of their Summer Nights as the rest of the gang sings and dances its way through such songs as Greased Lightnin’, and It’s Raining on Prom Night.
Book, music, and lyrics by Warren Casey and Jim Jacobs. Directed by Craig Marshall, music directed by Heather Holmes, choreographed by Raeburn Ferguson.
