GRCA trails closed
Trails are closed at all GRCA Parks, Nature Centres and properties due to ice storm damage. The closure applies to the four rail-trails including the Elora-Cataract Trailway, Cambridge-Brantford Rail-Trail, SC Johnson Trail (Paris to Brantford) and Brantford-Hamilton Rail-Trail.
The warning also includes trails in paid-entry GRCA Parks and GRCA Nature Centres. All parks are currently closed (except Belwood Lake and Shade’s Mills for ice fishing). Also affected are natural areas such as Dumfries (Cambridge), Snyder’s Flats (Bloomingdale), Dickson (south of Cambridge) and Starkey Hill (Guelph).
