GRASLEY, James (Jim)  Allan, Retired Police Officer and former School Teacher. Passed away peacefully at the Village of Riverside Glen in Guelph on August 21 2016. Beloved husband of the late Wilma Sheehy-Grasley(2014).  Survived by his brother-in-law John Naar and his nephew Scott Naar. Jim will be fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters–in-law Derek Cooper, Ted and Dolores Tyler and Jean Sheehy and by his nieces and nephews Julie, Michael, Dalma and David. Predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Annie (Atkinson) Grasley and his only sister Ruth Ann Naar (2002). Jim started his career as a School Teacher in North York, but became interested in Police work and served with the OPP in Sudbury and for 25 years with the Fergus Police Services. The family would like to thank the staff at the Village of Riverside Glen for their care and compassion shown to Jim, especially Mary and Lynn. A special thanks to Mary DeGunst for her visits with Jim’s four-legged pal Coco. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday August 25 at 11:00am at Marymount Cemetery, Hwy 6, Guelph, ON.
