GRANTHAM, Lena Passed away peacefully on Thursday March 29, 2018 at the age of 87. For the past year and a half Lena has courageously been battling a blood disorder. There wasn’t any test that Lena wasn’t willing to try. She was always looking to see tomorrow. Lena was a Beatty Brother/GSW employee for 46 years. After her retirement she was able to spend more time on her hobbies. She loved to garden, planting, seeding and watching everything grow. When the season changed so did her hobbies. Lena then liked to paint, do embroidery work and knitting to name a few. Lena was predeceased by her parents Freda (Watson) and John Henry and her two brothers Stanley and Norman. Lena will be fondly remembered by cousins and friends and truly missed by her friends who were more like family. Family and Friends were invited to visit at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St South, Fergus on Wednesday April 4th at 10:00 am. Internment at 11:00 am Belsyde Cemetery, Fergus. Fellowship time followed at Melville United Church, 300 St. Andrew St. West, Fergus. Memorial Donations may be made to Groves Hospital Building Fund. Arrangements entrusted with the Graham A.
