Grand Theatre to host volunteer appreciation, recruitment night
The Fergus Grand Theatre volunteers are inviting all current and future volunteers to an appreciation night on June 11 at 7pm at the theatre.
The Fergus Grand Theatre volunteers serve as ushers, house managers, concessions managers and box office staff for plays, concerts and other public events at the theatre.
The money they raise through these efforts goes towards capital and operational projects the theatre could not otherwise afford, but also lead to reduced costs, better patron services and enhanced functionality in all areas of the building.
New volunteers are always welcome and people can sign up at the event or simply chat with current volunteers about what it’s like to work at the theatre. Existing volunteers will have the opportunity to sign up for confirmed upcoming events in the 2015-16 season.
Light refreshments will be provided.
