Gold Bike contribution
President Vern Job of the Mount Forest Lions Club presented local BIA/Downtown Mount Forest representatives with a cheque for $500 for their Gold Bikes campaign. Sara Corfield, Amanda Boylan and Kayla Morton commented on the great response they got from the community for this worthy cause. The Childhood Cancer Awareness Month campaign is raising funds for the family of Simon Edgar-Dickert, a local youth battling brain cancer, as well as some other local families and Ronald McDonald House.
