Girls Gone RX Canada fitness fundraiser supports breast cancer research
Lifting for a cause – Officials say $3,000 was raised for breast cancer research on Sept. 16 at Lift Fitness and Performance in Guelph, as 33 women (11 teams of three) and a number of amazing volunteers got together to compete for the cause. Girls Gone RX Canada is a not-for-profit group that organizes events around the country and Lift owners Graham Brown and Trevor Cottrell were excited to offer their new space for such a great cause. The winning teams in the RX division were The 3 Misfits and The BAM division was won by the Kettlebelles from Crossfit Cambridge.
