GILS, John, 1937-2016

GILS, John, 1937-2016; Passed away peacefully at Riverside Glen at the age of 79 years old. John is survived by his sister Anne Spikman of B.C., Raymond Gils of Georgetown, Jaap Assen of Holland, Alie Schoewmaker of Holland, sister-in-law Ada Gils of Fergus and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Willem and Annechien, sister Christina and brothers Bert and Bill. Visitation for John was held at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus, on Thursday July 21st from 1-2pm followed by the funeral service held in the funeral home chapel immediately following visitation. There was a time of reception held in the funeral home reception room after the service.
