GIESEL, Roy Franz Passed away peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home in Arthur, on July 17th, 2017 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Shirley Agnes Slater-Giesel. Loving father of Douglas, Wayne (Shirley) and Grant (Kathy) Slater and Judy Rush (Blair). Caring grandfather of Shane, Michael, Michelle, Anthony and Shane Slater and Alicia Rush-Franklin (Andy) and Jesse Rush. Great grandfather of Morgan, Taylor, Brooklyn, Lexis and Miss Blair. Survived by his sisters Hazel Johnston, Marion Fortin, sister-in-law Ann Giesel and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his twin brother Grant and brothers-in-law Robert (Snoz) Johnston and Gordon Fortin. Memorial service for Roy will be conducted at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home and Chapel, 37 Church St. East in Elora, on Tuesday, July 25th, 2017 at 3:00pm, with visitation from 1:00pm.
