Ghosts of Minto Past to be raised at story session
It’ll be a spooky night at the old town hall on Sept. 27, when the Ghosts of Minto Past will be raised at a story telling session here.
The Town of Minto and the Treasures of Minto committee are inviting everyone to the Harriston Town Hall Theatre for “a night of spooky tales and unexplainable historical happenings.”
Participants are invited to share their local “ghost stories” or tales of scary situations or sit back and listen to storytellers from Wellington County Paranormal Investigators.
Light snacks and beverages will be provided at the event, which runs from 7 to 9pm.
Ghosts of Minto Past is the latest in a series of storytelling events hosted by the town and its Cultural Roundtable committee, now known as “Treasures of Minto,” in an effort to keep alive the verbal history of the community. Events have been held in all three of Minto’s urban centres.
