Get online, not in line, for government services
Ontario is offering more services online.
Going online is a safe, reliable way to avoid waiting in line and travelling in winter weather, states a Jan. 3 press release from ServiceOntario.
Online services and resources at ServiceOntario.ca, include:
- renewing your driver’s licence;
- renewing your licence plate sticker;
- registering your newborn using the 4-in-1 Newborn Bundle;
- changing your address;
- getting a used vehicle information package; and
- getting a copy of a birth, death or marriage certificate.
Many services are also available by phone.
