GBHS offers virtual #SayTheirNames candlelight vigil on Oct. 24

GUELPH - The Guelph Black Heritage Society, in collaboration with GAIN media and Onyx Nightclub, are presenting #SayTheirNames Candlelight Vigil.

The public is invited for a night of gathering, grieving and celebration of life on Oct. 24 from 7 to 8:30pm.

This virtual event will include spoken word, prayers, music and a moment of silence.

“Featured performers include Tracy Cain, Lainey Hayles, Justin Reid and Verese Vassell-Bowen. Black, racialized and non-racialized members of our community are grieving,” officials say.
