Gardening from a Hammock author to visit Elora group
The Elora Salem Horticultural Society will host master gardener Dan Cooper when it meets on Sept. 27.
Cooper will present garden tips and a selection of plants for low-maintenance gardening based on his book Gardening from a Hammock.
The talk will feature the gardens and easy-care plant picks of 17 well-known garden experts. Attendees will discover ways to reduce garden chores, find time to smell the roses and enjoy theirhammocks.
The event will be held at 7:30pm at the Heritage River Retirement Residence at 25 Wellington Drive in Elora.
