Gardener, Trefor; The family of Trefor Gardener sadly announces his passing after a long and valiant battle with cancer on Sunday, February 26, 2012, at age 51. Trefor Robert Gardener, dear husband of Cindy (Calver) Gardener and loving father of Matthew (Kitchener), Steven, Kathleen, and David Gardener of Acton. Dear son of Pat and Bob Gardener (Ajax) and Jenny and the late Ed Calver (Acton). Brother of John and Lori Gardener, Ann and Wayne Publicover, Wendy and Dave Holmes, and Tammy and Rod Kennedy. Caring uncle of Sarah-Lynn, Shawn, Ashly, Jay, Nicole, Alison, Reanna, Richard, and James, and great uncle of Elora. Special thank you to St. Elizabeth nurses, Brampton Civic ICU staff, and CASHH for their wonderful care and support. The family received friends at Blue Springs Funeral Home on Tuesday, from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A celebration of life was held at Crossing Community Church, which met at “The Roxy” (6 Mill Street E., Acton) Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 2pm. Interment, Fairview Cemetery, Acton. In Lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Cancer Assistance Services Halton Hills (CASHH).
