Gala to aid kids group
The Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington is presenting the fifth annual Around the World gala on Oct. 23 at the Italian Canadian Club here.
This year, guests will explore Greece during an evening filled with that culture. The gourmet dinner will feature dishes highlighting some of the best Greek ingredients including olives, feta cheese, and ouzo - not to mention decadent baklava for dessert.
Entertainment will include the five piece Greek band, Anadromh, along with prizes including a grand prize – a trip for two to Greece provided by Paul Tribe, of Uniglobe Discover Travel.
