Fusion team fourth in division
On the weekend of Dec. 5 to 7 the Centre Wellington Fusion Select 7 team 1 travelled to Belle River to play in the 2014 Randy Merten/Dan Holland Tournament.
The team started off the tournament with a win against Tecumseh followed by a tie against the Barrie Colts Minis.
On Dec. 6 in the morning the team played and lost against the Barrie Colts BMW’s.
The boys continued on to Dec. 7 to compete against Orangeville.
In the morning they beat Orangeville to win a spot later that day to play against the Barrie Colts Minis.
Unfortunately they took a loss but ended up as a consolation finalist.
On the weekend of Dec. 12 to 14 the team headed to Orangeville where it finished in a 1-1 tie, with a goal by Carter Billings and assists from Sam Black and Nicolas Leader.
The Fusion currently remain in fourth place in the division.
