Fusion play at Sleeman Centre
Centre Wellington Novice Fusion played the Orangeville Flyers at the Sleeman Centre prior to the Guelph Storm versus Kitchener Rangers OHL game on March 17.
After the national anthem play quickly got underway, with Kai Wycherley assisted by Brinley Wilson starting the scoring off.
Fraser Clark and Eddie McDonald each scored unassisted and another goal by McDonald assisted by Clark brought the score to 4-0 at the end of the first.
McDonald scored late in the second for a hat trick with help from Zander Pereira, Clark scored again assisted by Keira Healey.
McDonald and Healey each scored in the third with Denver Feltham assisting on both goals. Orangeville scored late in the third for a final score of 8-1.
