Fusion grab two big wins
Centre Wellington Fusion Major Atom A kicked off November with two big wins.
Owen Bright allowed only one goal against Guelph. Eddie McDonald got the hat trick for a 3-1 win.
On Nov. 8, the Fusion faced arch rival Burlington and were able to pull off another 3-1 victory. JD Maoun kept the team in it and the puck out.
With two solid wins behind the Fusion, they went into the Orillia Tournament with confidence.
Fusion was unable to find the back of the net until their third game.
Unfortunately, Fusion got their mojo a little too late and were eliminated from the tournament.
Despite the results, the team and the parents had a terrific time, officials state.
