Fusion Bantam AA champions
The CW Fusion Minor Bantam AA team have come home Canadian Cup Champions from Montreal on Dec. 4 to 6. The boys battled hard through injuries and setbacks and were able to come together for the win.
Their first game was against the Hillcrest Canadiens. The Fusion worked hard for a 6-0 victory.
Next up was West Hill. It was a rough game and the Fusion were defeated 4-1. The team had to win its next game to advance to the gold medal final. The boys were focused on their goal and came away with a 6-1 victory. The team was set to meet West Hill again in the final.
It took OT but the boys won the Canadian Cup by a 1-0 score.
Christian Linton and Tristan Cousineau were superb in net. The team is coached by: Tom Ristov, Colin Hatch, JP Cousineau, Mike Kirk, and Don Burt.
