FUNSTON, Rick. With great sadness we announce the passing of Rick Neil Funston, of Mount Forest, on Friday, December 9th, 2016 in his 56th year. Beloved husband of Diane Fordham-Funston.  Dear brother of Garry Funston and his wife Jeannie and Terry Funston and his wife Jill. Dear uncle of Randy Funston and his wife Andrea and their children Paige and Shade. Rick will be fondly remembered by Diane’s parents Donald and Anne Fordham, her sister Gail and her husband Steve Wilson and niece Mellisa and her husband Evan and their children Maddison and Wynter. Sadly missed by his canine companions, Jordie and Beag. Predeceased by his parents Neil and Eleanor Funston.  A celebration of Rick’s life and memories will be shared at the Mount Forest Legion on Saturday, December 17th at 1 p.m. with a reception to follow until 4 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Guelph Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
