Full slate of candidates in Centre Wellington

It looks like there’s a full slate in the running for Centre Wellington council as of April 11.

But so far, those who have filed are members of the current council.

Those filed to date include: Joanne Ross-Zuj for mayor and the following candidates for council positions:

- Ward 1, Kelly Linton;

- Ward 2, Kirk McElwain;

- Ward 3, Mary Lloyd;

- Ward 4, Fred Morris;

- Ward 5, Walter Visser; and

- Ward 6, Steven VanLeeuwen.

The only race thus far is for the Wellington County Ward 5 seat, with incumbent councillor Jean Innes versus Allan Hons.

Running for County Ward 6 is incumbent Shawn Watters and for the Upper Grand School Board Trustee position is David Gohn.
