Friends of Grand River meet for garbage clean up
CENTRE WELLINGTON – On April 13, the Friends of Grand River met at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex in Fergus before heading off in the brisk wind for a garbage cleanup along Wellington Road 18. After this, they hit South River Road, which Rob Heal (back row, centre) said is usually well maintained. Next weekend, on April 20, the group will be planting trees along the banks of Carroll Creek at a property just off of Middlebrook Road. More information can be found at friendsofthegrandriver.com.
