Free summer concerts in park

This summer, from June to August, the city’s parks will ring with music as the Guelph Concert Band and its various guest bands offer the Summer Concerts in the Park series.

The free, early evening performances can be enjoyed by all ages.

The Sunday concerts will all be held at 7pm. On June 21 the Guelph Concert Band will perform at the Royal City Park (Millennium Bandstand).

There­after, all of the concerts will be at Guelph’s Riverside Park: June 28 and July 12, Guelph Concert Band; July 19, Chinguacousy Band; July 26, Waterloo Concert Band; Aug. 2, Kitchener Musi­cal Society Band; Aug. 9, Fergus Brass Band; and Aug. 16, Cambridge Concert Band.

Guelph’s Summer Concerts in the Park series is organized by the Guelph Concert Band with the support of Guelph and Royal Canadian Legion Branch 234 in Guelph.
