Free baby clothing, supplies at give-away event

FERGUS – Thanks to the generosity of the community, the Wellington Pregnancy Care Centre (WPCC) has free baby clothing and baby supplies to share.

The centre invites those who are pregnant or caring for young children to come and take advantage of its clothing give-away.

Items include gently used baby clothing up to size 2, blankets, bottles, footwear, toys and used strollers.

The give-away event takes place Sept. 18 from 8 to 10am at the rear entry of its location at  280 St. Patrick St. W.

WPCC receives many donations of baby and maternity clothing and other supplies from community members.

“Please take advantage of this opportunity and get needed items free of charge at this give-away morning,” says executive director Joanne Pronk

“Little ones can be expensive to raise and we want to make life just a little easier by helping to provide for their needs.”

WPCC offers compassion, support and hope for all those impacted by an unexpected pregnancy.

The centre is a place for parents looking for supplies, education and friendship in their journey of raising a young child.
