Former Mohawk signs with NLL
Nolan Clayton, Fergus native and former Elora Mohawk player, has signed with NLL’s Colorado Mammoth – as an undrafted goalie.
Clayton thanked supporters on Twitter after hearing the News on Oct. 12. Clayton played three years with Elora Mohawks and two years with Orangeville Northmen.
After he was not chosen during the NLL draft on Sept. 26, Clayton wrote “Heartbreaking” on Twitter.
Clayton will vie for a spot on the lineup in tryouts before the start of the 2017 season.
