On Sept. 23, the Waterloo Wellington Regional Cancer Program is excited to present a public talk by Richard Béliveau.

Béliveau is the author of the best-selling books entitled, Foods that Fight Cancer, Cooking with Foods that Fight Cancer and Eating Well, Living Well: An Everyday Guide for Optimum Health. Béliveau has published more than 250 papers in scientific and medical journals.

The public talk will review and explain why certain foods are better suited for the human metabolism than others. The purpose of the talk is to raise awareness and increase knowledge on the prevention of chronic diseases and ultimately change behavior rapidly.

The talk will be held at the Cambridge Hotel and Conference Centre, 700 Hespeler Rd., from 7 to 8:30pm. Doors open at 6:30pm and the cost is $10.
