Food fundraiser
The Palmerston Novice Marlins held a charity barbecue on Aug. 1 at Drayton Food Market. Pitching in were Marlins, from left: Erica Culp, Erin Schill and Jana Bieman. The team was slated to play in the national championships in Whiterock, BC from Aug. 5 to 11. It is expected to cost around $30,000 for the team and one parent of each girl to go on the trip.
