‘Food for Thought’ dinner returning to Mimosa Church
CENTRE WELLINGTON – Once again Mimosa Church is offering Food for Thought.
Dinner is limited to 50 persons, and officials are encouraging those interested to book their dinner by calling June Switzer at 519-855-4201 or emailing jswitzer@sentex.net by the Saturday before each date to ensure adequate food for all.
Dinner is a free will offering to the church’s work, but lectures are free and open for all to drop in without calling ahead.
The church is located at 5980 Wellington Road 26, 8km north of Hwy. 124.
Dinner is set to begin at 6:30pm with the lectures beginning at 7-8:45pm.
The topic of the lectures is: “Travelling The Roman Empire,” with Darius Arya.
Dates are as follows:
- Nov. 6 - Rome and Spain;
-Nov. 13 - Imperial Spain and Morrocco;
-Nov. 20 - Jordan and Petra; and
-Nov. 27 - Croatia and Serbia.
