Food for Thought announces spring lecture lineup
The Mimosa United Church has announced its spring lineup for the 10th season of dinner lectures. Reverend Jeff Davison will lead us through a series of lectures on “Great Churches of the World.”
All lectures are held at the Mimosa United Church, 5980 Wellington Road 26. Full course dinner starts at 6:30pm and the lectures are from 7:30 to 8:30pm.
Free will offering please, contributions will go towards church functions and community.
- April 26: The Earliest Churches - church of the Holy Sepulchre;
- May 3: Hagia Sophia - cave churches of Cappadocia;
- May 10: The Mosque Cathedral of Cordoba - stave churches of Norway; and
- May 17 - La Sagrada Familia - Icelands’s Halgrimskirkja.
