Floruk, Alexander (Alex)

Floruk, Alexander (Alex); Passed away peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital at the age of 89. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Nina of 24 years and by her sister Lydia. Alex was born in Ukraine in 1922 and has enjoyed his last several years living “on the farm” in Orton. He was a music teacher for the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto and was very proud of being a writer and poet having many of his works being published world wide. The family would like to thank the kind staff of Groves Memorial Hospital for their excellent care through this difficult time. Cremation has taken place and as per Alex’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Arrangements entrusted to the Graham Giddy Funeral Home, Fergus, Ontario.
