Flocking Holiday Home Tour will support new Mount Forest pool
Aquatics committee has raised over $1 million towards new pool thus far
MOUNT FOREST – The 2026 Flocking Holiday Home Tour will take place on Nov. 21 from 10am to 3pm at Quality Homes (7307 Sideroad 5 W, Kenilworth).
This community event is organized by the Mount Forest Aquatics Ad-Hoc Advisory Committee (MFAAAC).
“In the past, this event featured residents opening their beautifully decorated homes for a self-guided tour to raise money for the new Mount Forest pool, while inspiring the community to get in the ho-ho-holiday mood,” officials stated in a press release.
This year, the format has changed slightly to a centralized location.
At Quality Homes, there will be five model homes decorated by local residents/groups, all open for self-guided tours throughout the day with the same goal: to raise funds for the new Mount Forest Outdoor Pool.
Quality Homes will also be offering free guided tours of its facility that day.
“The Aquatics Committee is incredibly grateful to Quality Homes for partnering with us on this year’s Flocking Holiday Home Tour and generously providing five beautiful model homes for the event,” said MFAAAC chair Sherry Burke.
“We also want to thank the local residents and community groups who have volunteered their time, creativity and holiday spirit to decorate the homes,” she said.
“Their support is helping us create a unique and festive experience for visitors while raising important funds for the future Mount Forest outdoor pool.”
Tickets are $30 each and are available at:
– Mount Forest Greenhouse (460 Durham St. E.);
– M&M Food Market (160B Main St. N., Mount Forest);
– Plume’s Main Street Interiors (198 Main St. N., Mount Forest);
– Coldwell Banker WIN Realty (153 Main St. S., Mount Forest); and
– Quality Homes (7307 Sideroad 5W, Kenilworth).

As of Nov. 1, the MFAAAC has raised $1,160,461 toward its $2.5 million goal for the new Mount Forest outdoor pool, which will be known as the T.D. Smith Aquatic Centre upon opening.
Once 80 per cent of the target ($2 million) is reached, the project will move forward to the tendering phase.
