Flewwelling, Ivan William

Flewwelling, Ivan William; of RR#2 Alma passed away Friday, October 10, 2008 in his 78th year.  Beloved husband of Jean (Langdon) Flewwelling. Dear father of Don of RR#2 Alma, Joyce and Dan McEachern of Sherwood Park Alberta, Debbie and Blair Fraser of RR#2 Blyth, Gary and Lori Flewwelling of RR#2 Drayton, Wayne and Lynne Flewwelling of RR#1 Palmerston, Robert and Karen Flewwelling of RR#3 Moorefield.  Survived by fifteen grandchildren.  Also survived by sister-in-law and brother-in-law June and Arnold Carter of RR#5 Mount Forest.  Predeceased by his parents George and Susan Flewwelling and by his brother Cecil and two sisters Freda Thompson and Verna Muir.  Ivan was a life long resident of the Goldstone area and farmed on the family farm. Friends were received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Sunday, October 12th  from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service was conducted in the funeral home chapel on Monday, October 13th at 2pm.  Family enjoyed a time of friendship and fellowship at a reception which was held in the Wellington Room at the funeral home. Cremation followed with interment in the family plot.
