Flanagan, George Thomas; Passed away peacefully at Shelburne Residence on Thursday, August 1st, 2013 at the age of 74, due to complications of Alzheimer’s disease. Resident of Grand Valley since 1968 where he established George Flanagan Tree Service. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Downey) for 54 years. Devoted father of Jo-Anne (Bruce Leonard) and Ray. Cherished grandfather of Jaedi, Jenna, Jeric and Kelsie. Dear brother of Muriel, Lillian, Russel and Barry. Loving brother-in-law and uncle to many. Grateful to his kidney donor Judi Sills (niece). Predeceased by siblings Phylis, Bill, Jackie, Donald and Ken. A celebration of George’s life will be held Saturday, September 7th at 2pm at Trinity United Church, 17 King St., Grand Valley. Cremation has taken place.
