First tournament of season for lawn bowling
The Arthur Lawn Bowling Club held its first tournament of the season, sponsored by Arthur Travel Services, on May 29. Eight teams participated.
First place was Velda Francis of Mount Forest, followed by Arthur’s Sue O’Donnell in second Helen Kelly of Mount Forest in third and Charles Daquette of Dundalk in fourth.
Mary Anne Alexander won a consolation prize.
Arthur Lawn Bowling Club meets Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:30pm.
