First equine stables tour is Sept. 13, 14

The inaugural Headwaters Stable Tour will run Sept. 13 and 14.

Equine enthusiasts of all ages can experience first-hand the excitement and spirit of equine sport in the Hills of Headwaters, and get an inside look at some of the finest stables in the region.

Visitors will see first hand the farms and facilities that most people only get to see from afar.

Fifteen facilities in Caledon, Erin and Dufferin County will open their doors to show off equine disciplines. Guests can watch demonstrations and be eligible for giveaways throughout the tour.

Some of the country’s premiere breeding farms, coaching and training facilities, riding schools, boarding stables, ranches, suppliers (including farriers, veterinarians, feed, bedding and tack shops), and special events are located in the tour area.
