First AGM for Minto Farmers Market
Minto Farmers’ Market Association is planning to celebrate a successful first season at its first annual general meeting early next month.
On Feb 8, the Minto Farmers’ Market Association will host that meeting at the Clifford community hall at 7:30pm.
The 2009 season marked a successful first year for the market with residents and tourists dropping by regularly to shop there.
The report indicated that close to $20,000 in sales was generated for local farmers and vendors over the summer.
Anyone interested in the Minto Farmers’ Market is invited to attend the meeting.
Refreshments will be supplied by market vendors and prizes donated by Farmers’ Market Ontario are being offered.
